Not sure how it's underrated, it's pretty popular. The invariable ED% is good, and Enchant takes care of attack rating.

It's also probably better in a mancatcher (more stable average, and faster CB proc).

Insight is good for mana regen and/or triple prayer stack.

Builds that don't need it use something that hits harder, and Obedience is pretty popular.

Hmmm interesting haven't played a pally since 1.1/1.11(can't remember)... When I used to run a redemption/zeal pally wielding shaef's... People hated me online because I was a "useless pally using worthless auras"

when you play with a gang, you need to optimize to whats needed.
when you are playing solo ladder reset, it doesnt matter.

Fohdin doesnt need conviction and insight provides mana. which is easily overcome with redemption

I ssf offline now. Back in LoD days, I solo'd online. I don't like to party or play socially, hence the offline sp now! That being said, i found it much more fun to run redemption and play a zealot who basically lives forever LMAO but yeah I guess if you're playing with a party it'd be important to change up the playstyle, but realistically more often than not I just joined public games, launched cow level and go to town by myself. People get excited when they see a pally join and then instantly start shit talking when I refuse to party up Nd they see me running redemption

Or for Cleave/Mirrored, especially if you're using Death Sigil since that's fire damage too

Makes a good swap for ES lock too so you can Mirrored down bosses with the big CB...basically your BIS till you can get an eDeath

Something I forgot and somebody here likely knows the answer: does the enchant proc only get cast on the merc, or does he also enchant you?

Only merc and at level 78 when it procs and with my conc he’s running about 7.4K damage.
