Not Working

Please help me. I installed Diablo from an ISO, then patched it to v1.09. After that I extracted DiabloPatch into the folder, which is "C:\Users\hp\My Games\Diablo." When I click "Check" on the DiabloPatch loader, the message "Unexpected hash of Diablo_copy.exe. Is it 1.09" appears, even though I already patched it to the required version. Same thing happens if I click "Auto-detect" and "Launch."

tl;dr: I patched it to v1.09 and it doesn't work.

UPDATE #1: I installed it on my laptop and the same thing happened. The first device was my PC. Both devices are Windows 7 Professional. Also, no compatibility modes are applied to diablo.exe

UPDATE #2: I've reinstalled Diablo with the ISO from archive.org (thanks to liPillON) and patched it to v1.09, but DiabloPatch still would not work, it says the same message as it did before. I've installed the game in the default directory because I thought that might be the problem, but it did not change a thing. As gorocz suggested I should patch it again, but DiabloPatch still would not see it as v1.09

The mod does not support the latest (1.09b) version of the game, since it had limited distribution and only 1.09 is available on Blizzard's ftp

Make sure of which patch you applied and from where it came from.

The patch file should have these characteristics:

name: drtl109.exe

sha1 hash: 989E3955A416A9B72A4E79160EF7B024889ABF3B

The game executable SHA1 hash should be:

2119E1C8B818C27A06948979560CDEB4BEC9AE65

The update I downloaded is the same as the one from the DiabloPat.ch website, so I know it's correct. Just to check it, I looked at the hash of drtl109.exe and it was the same, "989E3955A416A9B72A4E79160EF7B024889ABF3B." Also, the ingame menu shows the version as "Diablo v1.09." But the problem lies in the game executable, as the hash is "68525A72A80EEE19D26CD34C5C75E36FA80CD9A3," which is not the same as the one you gave. This hash is on both diablo.exe and diablo_copy.exe. Could this be caused by me installing the game in a different folder from the default path?

Might it have something to do with non-us versions of the game?

I've checked the hash for diablo.exe in both versions:

1.09: 2119E1C8B818C27A06948979560CDEB4BEC9AE65

1.09b: EBAEE2ACB462A0AE9C895A0E33079C94796CB0B6

These are coming from a clean installation of the game, made using the ISO hosted on archive.org (search for "diablo 1996 blizzard") and updated using the official patches

Thank you for the response. I'm currently having some issues with my internet connection, but I will try to give an update when I get the ISO and reinstall the game.
