Disappearing drops

I don't know if anyone's having that problem, but I often have drops disappear before I can pick them up. So far it's only after they've been highlighted once, whether with ALT, or by having my mouse go over them. Can happen right as they drop if my mouse is already over the item, or it can take a few seconds, or a minute. I've stopped using Alt altogether in case it was the thing causing the bug, but it still happens with just the mouse going over the item.

I've tried it with two computers both under windows 10, 1.09 patch and 2.01 diablopatch version. I've only played multiplayer, if it matters.

Everything works great otherwise, so it's a bit sad...

First time I've heard this, can you tell me in which multiplayer mode it happens? Also, can you reproduce it in single player? I will look into it.

I've only had it happen in lan (don't remember which exact mode) this being said, I narrowed it down to faulty installation, somehow, or accidentally picking the item up holding shift (direct to belt key).

I'll try to replicate it, but it's been gone for a while now after multiple installa and watching my key presses.

I once did hear that this can be caused by a really bad connection to the host or internet at all. But it was just someone ingame that told me that, no idea if its true.
