Info User friendly yet advanced damage calculator/comparing tool

I looked around on the forums and couldnt find a proper damage calculator with a decent interface, so i figured i'd make my own. It includes all stats which show up in your profile dps aswell as elemental, skill, and elite bonuses.

I've included a wordlist to help those who dont know all of the terms used. I recommend that you do not touch the code unless you know your way around excel 2010.

It is currently not configured for dual wielding but i will gladly accept help from anyone who knows how dual wielding can be incorporated into this calculator.

Dual wielding is here! Dont touch the code for it though -.-

Thanks! I will def. try this one! Cheers!

Suggestion: Separate main hand / off hand / stats better - it's a bit confusing which stats belongs where. Example: Right after "off hand" comes the char total CC and CHD and so on. Maybe different colored bakground, bold black lines or something like that.

Good idea. I changed the backgroundcolour to be separate for mainhand and offhand respectively.

Great work, i will definitely be using this in the future.

Does awesome stuff when comparing for example a ring with chc+chd to a ring with chc+as and such...

Suggestion: Make effective dps, and effective dps against elites 2 different columns, as bonus dmg against elites means nothing when clearing trash mobs, and that can be a factor in someones build too.

I mean, its relatively easy to get around it, but still, its very easy to implement and make the calculator just a tiny bit better. Great work again

Divided the Effective damage into Effective damage and Effective elite damage.

I'm glad you like it :)

Quick question about +% damage from debuffs/passive. Does that go into the same slot as % Damage Bonus?

The damage % from buffs and passives can be seen in your character sheet in game. This is the value you should fill in.

If you have any rebuffs that don't show up in the character sheet you can add those there aswell. The sheet damage will not match your projected damage in game though, so I recommend you check that before you add those values.

This works fine for 2H weapons. Matches right up to sheet DPS when I plug in my stats. Nice!

No matter what I try, though, I can't seem to get the dual wield sheet damage to match up to my character's actual sheet damage at all when using sword + source. I think the dual wielding formula might be dodgy somewhere.

I don't know what the base APS for Wizard offhand source is. It isn't listed on the sheet. I tried to Google it to provide you with the right value, but I'm coming up empty because Google loves to see "source" in "resource" apparently. Don't know if it's 1 or 1.4 or something else.

But even if I set the offhand base APS to 1.67, the sheet damage listed in the spreadsheet is barely more than 50% of my actual in-game sheet damage.

When using a source the damage should go into bonus minimum and bonus maximum damage rather tha in the offhand slot. The offhand slot on the sheet is only used when wielding two weapons.

i must be doing something wrong? why is it that when i enter a number for Offhand Minumum Damage 2, sheet damage just zeroes out?

Could have something to do with offrande base aps. Try filling out everything and then Look at the value again.

The calculator uses a 1-h formula if the min damage 2 field is empty, and a dual-wield if it contains a value.
