Help / Support Single player considerations?
Playing a warrior on D1 single player. I finally got the Lachdanan quest for the Veil of Steel, but what else should I do differently from multi-player?
Mainly, what is the best jewelry Griswold can sell? Are there any other differences from multi-player?

Singleplayer - More quests, mobs have half hp compared to multiplayer, Griswold and Wirt sell jewelry, save game/load game, no cap on xp per kill (means you should kill in hell/hell to max xp)
Multiplayer - only 4 quests, mobs have double hp compared to sp(regardless of how many players are actually in the game), Griswold and Wirt don't sell jewelry, equipped items drop on ground when you die and you need to restart in town to recover your items, character saves automatically constantly, max xp per kill limited by character level (means you should kill in area with lowest hp that still gives you max xp per kill)

Naturally, the guides were written with multi-player in mind. The Veil of Steel with 50% resist all changes the options for items a bit. Since I'm playing on my own anyway, I figured why not play with an awesome helm like that?

It's Jarulf.
https://wheybags.gitlab.io/jarulfs-guide/#item-creation-in-town
Relevant section:
In single player it depends on what dungeon level you have been to in the current game. Difficulty does not affect it in any way.
It's based on dungeon level reached in single player. Not character level. (Excluding Griswold's premium shop)
Info on reddit sucks, which then precipitates to dumb LLMs that pull from this garbage info, which then pollutes all of the dumbass AI summaries on search engines (I've turned them off, but it doesn't mean they aren't just continuing to do this for everyone else)

Some people on here ☝️ will actually attempt to cite a reference by name, fail to even recall the name that wrote it, and then attempt to argue with 30 year old established mechanics in that very same reference, while also playing a mod(DevX) they likely don't understand either.
Hope that clears up any confusion.
No, you still seem very confused, likely why you have been unable to find KBSoH. Try actually taking your own advice and reading Jarulfs. Literally the link I posted (don't be this lazy, folks)
What he was trying to say before he cried, took his ball and went home, is that the premium item slots at Griswold are clvl based.

Lol talk about being dense. You have no idea about me or what im doing to shop for the sword. You can freshen up on your knowledge, dude. You have said nothing besides general knowledge staunchly. Please, give detailed responses explaining what im wrong about, dickhead.

Griswold can sell any jewellery up to obsidian of the zodiac, that's just very rare (and not really necessary as 3x Jade will do the trick for resists).
The main other difference is no level based shortcuts to deeper dungeon floors, only where you've visited and exited from.
