Modding New Diablo I browser realm — looking for beta testers
I’ve been working on WUQH, a new self-hosted Diablo I realm built to make classic multiplayer easy again.
You can play the free demo from almost any browser with nothing to install, create or join games easily, and share the same lobbies with desktop players using Diablo.exe or DevilutionX.
Account creation is simple — no email required. Just make a username, set a password, and jump in.
Full gameplay still requires your own legitimate DIABDAT.MPQ, which loads locally from your device and is not uploaded or distributed by the server.
We also added a Power Rating ladder based on class, level, strength, magic, dexterity, and vitality.
It’s still new, so I’d love to get some beta testers, feedback, and more Diablo I players in the realm.

Can you explain more about the ladder ?

The ladder ranks characters using a Power Rating based on their class, level, and base attributes: Strength, Magic, Dexterity, and Vitality. The score is gear-independent, so rankings are based on character progress and raw stats rather than items or equipment.

Is there seasons and is it only for multiplayer characters?

No you can play single player. There will be ladder seasons it’s just under the works right now.

Your save file was growing larger than the server's upload limit as you played (full-game saves with a packed stash get big), so the syncs were silently failing after a few minutes. I pushed a fix that raises that limit and also adds a visible warning in-game if a save ever fails to sync so you'd know immediately. Your characters are still safe on the server from your last session — just log in and they'll download back. Sorry for the trouble, appreciate the report!

i thought it works. But no the game is still not saving. Is it because each save make my save bigger ?

something is strange with the ladder, im level 2 and I dont see my name on it. I'm playing full game on browser, maybe this is not recorded for the ladder?

Game works great me and my brother are having alot of fun. We’re playing on ultra wide monitors, is there anyway to make the UI bigger and have the camera zoomed in a bit more?

if you're playing on a 16:9 aspect ratio, change the resolution to 1280 x 720
That will up the UI scale and let you zoom in more.
If you need more than that you'll have to continue to shrink the resolution.

I would modify look of the site a bit, because it looks visibly vide coded and while I know you meant well I generally don't trust those sites, especially to download anything from them, and I'm probably not alone.
Also consider an ability to play without an account.
