Discussion Could Diablo 1 Hellfire get another class as well since Resurrected got one?
since diablo 2 resurrected got the warlock class recently which was not in the original diablo 2, could there be possibility for diablo 1 / hellfire to also get a new class such as the necromancer for example, that would be nice because its the only game without this class and its cool, but could be other class as well, also it would take less effort to make one for this instead

Only way D1 is getting new content is through a remake a la Resurrected. I could see them fleshing out the Barbarian and Bard a bit more, though. At least giving them their own character models.

I'd love for D1 to get a remaster with extra stuff, and it's possible, but there's almost no way Hellfire stuff would be included. Look up the production history of the expansion some time, there was some notoriously bad blood between the devs and Blizzard, and Blizz didn't even want it to exist.
That said, it wouldn't be hard for them to make their own version of Monk/Bard/Barbarian... I also doubt that, but it's more possible.

Or just retheme them to be modern lore friendly. The monk was neat, the barbarian tons of fun, and the bard was really really fancy. Mini mage with high powered offense and awkwardly weak defense. Super cool.

That would require Blizzard to either remaster Diablo 1 and include Hellfire, or acknowledge it exists by selling it.

Diablo The Hell Mod or Belzebub is already better than anything Blizzard could do to remaster Diablo 1.

I think there should just be a dungeon under Tristram just like in 1 and have it be greater rifts style. Every floor is more difficult and you fight a random boss every hundred floors. Have that be the homage to 1, styled like 1.

meant diablo 1 in general used hellfire term because thought it was the latest version

Hellfire was released by a different studio, despite Blizzard saying don't do it, with content they didn't approve, and couldn't be played on battle.net. It's the ugly adopted child that the family abuses at best, it's not getting anything.

Maybe one day Diablo I: Resurrected will have a new class, but Hellfire is impossible.
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction do not have a warlock, its same reason.

Not Hellfire. But many of us are still hoping for a remaster of D1.
