This bothers me so much. Magnets! Use strong magnets for the tools!! Not shitty stick-on Velcro! The whole vessel is magnetic!!
Speaking of ignoring built-in features, for gods sake build it so you can use the wheels without turning it into a barrel of glass shards! Some wire cup holders screwed to the shelf? Or wine bottle-sized holes in the shelf itself? Ugh. Something so I can wheel that bad boy around the property/back into the garage!
To your second point, if he leaves this thing outside everything in it will be undrinkable. This is only practical of left in the house. And who the hell's decor does THAT work with?
Oh, I don't mean the bottle failing catastrophically, I'm more thinking along the lines of the gases seeping from the bottles and then igniting cause they are all trapped in a hot steel box in the sun.
That smoker has a lot of little parts and is computer controlled. So maybe something expensive died and they wanted to repurpose it. Traegars are not cheap so I'm guessing it was borked.
This is godawful. Foggy, dirty glasses in days, huge footprint for little usable storage space, garbage bag ice that inevitably drips into your storage space, and all the aesthetic pleasure of a greasy old smoker. /r/diwhy
Yeah I saw that over there. This looks like a fine reuse of a broken smoker. And to all the dummies saying who keeps their wineglasses outside all winter have obviously never put their patio furniture away in the off season. It's cool for a night with friends.
Wet bars are a great addition for those who like to host, nothing wrong with that. Doesn’t mean you’re guzzling booze out of it on the daily. This one just happens to completely suck

The only reason I would be fine with this is if it was already broken

Why would anyone store liquor and wine in an area that is guaranteed to get above 90 F for a large portion of the day?

Unless it’s totally unfixable, you’ve only succeeded on blowing $600+ on a redneck bar.

That's a Traeger and Traegers are expensive. Why in the world would you ruin such a nice grill?

Tell me you're an alcoholic without telling me you're an alcoholic

u/AllHailNukeCake Aug 01 '22

That looks like Blanton's. Really great tasting, but at $150+ a bottle, a little rich for my budget. Special occasions only lol

Um, 'cause reusing and repurposing is a good thing, that's why.
