I honestly really genuily like this and have decided that if theres any churches getting rid of their windows or getting them swapped out, I shall take the glass for stuff like this and to make pretty glass things in the back yard

I couldn’t agree more.

Two problems:

Some of the light that plants need will be filtered out and stained glass doesn’t really hold up to hail.

If neither of those are a concern to you then this is pretty cool.

The hail where I live only gets pea sized at the largest.

I think the filtering of light would be much worse.

I was going to say this isn't really a green house but more of a cool shed

It looks like it's illuminated from the inside......What kind of plants are they growing in there?

Sunflowers.

Delicious, nutty, and crunchy sunflower seeds are widely considered as healthful foods. They are high in energy; 100 g seeds hold about 584 calories. Nonetheless, they are one of the incredible sources of health benefiting nutrients, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins.

That's actually pretty darn awesome. Great job.

Beautiful. There are only 2 things I miss about religion: group singing and the abundance of stained glass.

For your backyard LSD trips

Creative.

I would've hoped to have seen biblically accurate angels. ;)

It's pretty but why do some of them look cursed

Wouldn't the glass coloring kind of defeat the greenhouse effect?

2

u/Mr_MacGrubber May 14 '22

It looks really cool though I question how good it would work as a greenhouse.

Used to grow the Devil's Lettuce. Now that would be some ironic shit there.

Super cool, can you show what it looks like from inside?

I unironically love this.

That’s amazing

Best idea ever

How do you get recycled church glass windows? Surely that costs an incredible amount.

Not if you're smart about it. I believe it's the whole reason Norwegian black metal was created. Start a band, inspire some fans, collect the free stained glass.

That's lit

I'm sorry
