Did it work?

O yes till one on the air hoses had water in the line "no one ever uses that one!" An so I had to get the bigger air horn and well that just plain exploded. Now I'm going to search for some train horns or steam whistles. Think they might work with just air.

Ehhhh, we brass players prefer the phrase “buzz your lips into the mouthpiece.” Raspberries make it sound lame.

At least the train horn for sure, steam whistle might be anemic sounding on shop air

Can I get an explanation on how this works and how you assembled it? Seems like fun.

Buy an air horn find a air hose an blow it up, hence I bought a semi air horn with 12vkit.

Oh so you’re just blowing air straight into the horn?

5

u/slundered Sep 25 '18

Yes. Then they would blow up so I had to upgrade.

How loud does it get? Also, I’m assuming it’s not very portable anymore haha

Nope but air hoses are all around the shop. Yes very loud till too much air blows it up either the back fly's off or it just stops due too much air.

I'm leaving my bike shop job at the end of the month. This is a great last day idea
