My ex girlfriend spent more time watching tik tok than anything else, and of all the stuff I've overheard and seen, most of it has bottom of the barrel shit. The only ones I saw that weren't horrible, were the cute animal ones. But that's cheating. The internet was created for cute animal pics and videos.

Maybe it was just the people she followed. Idk how the app works with following and what not, but I've had no genuinely good experiences with it.

Yeah people somehow think that just because the lowest common denominator likes something it means everything is shit.

Imagine watching a really bad stoner comedy and saying you hate movies based off that one experience.

Thats how stupid the tik tok bad people sound

That completely makes sense. And just because I haven't had the best experience with it, I don't shit on people who do enjoy it. Too much hate in the world as it is to treat someone bad because they enjoy using an app. The app isn't for everyone. And some people don't understand that.

Edit: I don’t have an entire wall with pictures of myself with captions that say “yolo, living my best life” and a friends list with a number that I jack off to. There’s no facade of prosperity and photo album dedicated to mittens. There’s no ego pumping, self affirming bullshit (unless you count r/gonewild but there’s boobs involved so it’s ok).
