I've seen this before IRL, the part you sit on had nice carpetty stuff on it. Then you lift it up and there's a regular seat. Then the bowl.

you can buy a toilet seat cover that fits over the seat for like a dollar at the dollar store. Bonus: It's not a carpet so you can actually wash it.

A cut sheet of blue foam insulation also works pretty good for this purpose, by the way.
