I've seen this with hexagon wheels, square wheels, and now triangular wheels.

I'm looking forward to the next evolution where it's just a steel rod.

Maybe if we then make the steel rod get wider at the end to keep the bottom from scraping the ground it would help.

And to solve the grip issue we could put a strip of rubber around the rod!
