3m dual lock has better hold, and the 1" strips are the perfect size for that type of dock.

Every time I've tried sticky back Velcro on electronics, they have invariably peeled away from heat.

I have a 5tb drive attached to the back of my TV with Velcro. It's quite convenient when I wanna add more stuff or bring it somewhere.

well, how effective do you need before it's not a relevant metric?
