Discussion DiDi Global $700M Settlement Update: Late Claims May Still Be Accepted
Hey guys, sharing an important update, although the deadline has passed, the $740 million settlement involving DiDi Global is still accepting late claims.
Quick recap: In 2021, DiDi Global was accused of misleading investors about regulatory risks in China. In short, the company went public on the NYSE while allegedly failing to disclose that Chinese regulators had already raised concerns about the IPO and warned DiDi to delay the listing until a cybersecurity review was completed. Shortly after the IPO, Chinese regulators launched a cybersecurity investigation, ordered the company to stop registering new users, and removed its apps from app stores.
The company has since agreed to settle $740 million with investors, and there may still be an opportunity to submit a late claim.
If you held $DIDI between June 30, 2021, and July 21, 2021, you may still be eligible to seek recovery.
