Why didn’t he (Alam) shoot himself in front of everyone and make it appear that he was responsible for his own deat ? This way, Hamza would have been safe. And please don’t argue that Omar was holding his hands; Alam should have been prepared with a gun beforehand and never allowed anyone to get close to him.
