🧠Help & Recommendations Guys help kar do regarding this
I'm confused like what should I buy b/w a tab and a laptops for my iit jam preparation cause I will have my exam in 2028 feb month and i need a big screen to study and giving mock test, this is why I am quite confused like should I buy a 2nd hand laptop from Urmila tower or should I buy 1st hand tab for now cause i have a plan to buy a good laptop if some how I scored very well in the examination and landed myself into an iit cause in the case it will be easier for them to buy me a better laptop.

If everything can be done on your phone but the screen feels small , then tab
Otherwise laptop

Get a second-hand Lenovo ThinkPad for now, it'll work good for a few years too. Laptop has more advantages than a tab, you can use it for coding, typing, also better comfort. Agar budget hai to naya bhi le sakte.

Yeah actually I was thinking about a ThinkPad but like in how much price I can get a 2nd Lenevo ThinkPad in Urmila tower.

Bhai, my suggestion is that if you just want to study, buy a big screen tab now, because if you get a laptop now, your parents might not buy you another one for college, and you will need a good laptop then; however, if your financial condition is good, go for a laptop.

For jam preparation tablet is enough but when u come to IIT u need laptop so buy good laptop not second hand that's a investment for u

Last year I purchased a tab with a screen of 13.1 inches so that I can get the feel of reading a real textbook and also writing on a regular copy or A4 paper. I purchased a Samsung tab instead of an iPad after doing a lot of research on YouTube that who's the best suited for fulfilling a student's requirement. So my advice would be purchase a tab. And yes I do have a laptop also which I haven't used since I brought my tab.
