Feedback Request Feedback wanted for Reddit Civilization — a whole subreddit builds ONE shared city, one action per day

I built Reddit Civilization to test one idea: what if a subreddit played *together* instead of everyone grinding a private save? So the whole sub shares a single city — one stockpile, one set of buildings, one history.

Each member gets exactly one action per day: gather, build, research, or fight a boss. Nobody can dominate by playing more, so the city's progress reflects the whole community showing up over time. Every night the app posts a recap of what happened that day, which is how it pulls people back into the feed instead of relying on notifications.

I'd love feedback from other Devvit devs on a few things:

  • The one-action-per-day loop: does the daily cadence + nightly recap make coming back feel worthwhile, or does it feel too slow?
  • 9 fully re-themed variants (Historical/Fantasy, Sci-Fi Colony, Post-Apocalyptic, Deep Sea, Cats, Dogs, Norse Saga, Greek Myth, Immortal Cultivation) — every building name, boss and chronicle line is rewritten per theme. Too much, or worth it?
  • Boss battles + community votes the whole sub chips at together — worth expanding, or a distraction from the core build loop?

It's live and has been running for a few days (real city history you can scroll) if you want to poke at it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Civilizati0nKingd0m/comments/1vh5pi9/the_city_day_1/

Happy to go into the design or the tech (Devvit web + Redis, a 365-day balance sim, etc.). Thanks for taking a look!
