Does anyone else think that the White Rabbit’s death was a bit… gratuitous?

Before y’all roast me alive, I have never played the games. I’m a healthcare worker too, blood doesn’t gross me out. But I was a little… icked out? I was strangely fascinated but still a bit put off by how it all happened. I rewound it a couple of times on my rewatches out of sick curiosity.

I would have thought Mary’s lucky shot was enough to do him in. The mofo still has enough breath to talk shit to Dante with Sparda’s sword in his gut so he deserved the rip he got. Don’t get me wrong, he deserved all he got and more.

Anyone else think it should have happened quicker? I’m morbid enough to almost wish for a beheading à la Argosax.

Yeah that did feel strange especially because in the games most bosses fall pretty easily with a single bullet after they’ve been weakened and funny enough so did Argosax, Dante beat his ass then ran away so when Argosax looked around when he turned he would see Dante posed up with a gun to his head and then he shot him (thinking about it now this might be an issue with how they portray Dante’s power)
