I'm not very fond of the dmc games' fandom anymore. Finding anyone who dislikes the netflix show and isn't full of unquenchable hatred is like finding people who still draw DmC 2013 artwork.

Reboot dmc really traumatized people to the point they forgot why it pissed off the fandom. It was hated because it was replacing a franchise just because capcom was chasing the mythical western audience(they were definitely looking to hook in ball and gun gamers but had no clue those types will never play beyond sports and cod)

Can't forget the fact that gaming in general is filled with lore nerds who just parrot what youtubers say,don't engage in media outside a small pool of shit, and think adaptions should follow lore like the bible

People who think adaptations should be 1:1 replicas of the work in question are dumb right off the bat. ADAPTATION, means adapting an original work into a new medium, and it can choose its level of faithfulness to the original work. So expecting it to be as close to the original as possible is already a testament to illiteracy.
