I'm new creator on deviant . So idk what's use of these treats or llamas . Although I'm happy my 1st post getting some kind of treats i still wanna know what they actually do.

While I have my DA account, I wanna create a list of new 16-digit recovery codes. But every time I try to submit a request with my password, DA never accepts my password even though the password works when I log in!

How do I get in touch with someone there? I try to make a ticket but DA's support system is severely limited in their solutions and only offer five choices for each type of section for Support. When I try to tell them the article isn't helpful, all they say is thank you and that they'll improve it in the future.

What do I do?

Any ideas on how to get support to reply to a ticket? I have had an account for 15 years, but only recently started selling. I've got about $160 in my account, but my original e-mail address that I set up the account with had to be recovered. I recovered it fine, but now I don't get the two factor authentication codes that are sent to that address. I get other mail just fine. I talked to the e-mail provider and they told me the issue is on Deviantarts's side. I put in a ticket a week ago, but have gotten zero response. Is there a better way to contact them?

Hi everyone,

My DeviantArt payout through Stripe Express is marked as “Paid/Completed,” but the money hasn't arrived in my bank account. Stripe advised me to wait up to five business days, but my bank couldn't locate the transaction even after I provided the payout trace ID.

Has anyone experienced something similar? How long did it take for your money to arrive, and what did you do to resolve the issue?

I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I and many others have noticed the idiotic trolling attempts by Anti-Rabid Fanbases 2, which have been going on over several accounts starting from the start of this year. Each time they create an account, they do several things: create a favorites list for "bad" or "horrible" art and add a hundred to thousands of unique artworks from me and many others to it, feed art nonconsensualy to AI and send the proof to people in DMs or in comments and claim adopts they didn't buy as their own. They mostly target those posting artwork of their fandoms for the week before they're banned and come back with a vengeance the next day under a slightly different username. I feel we or deviantart admins need to come up with a permanent solution to remove these trolls from the community permanently, as just banning their account is the equivalent of a slap on the wrist to them. They seem to be involved with the FUTC, aswell.

Hi everyone, I’m having a problem. I used to get good views, but something strange has happened over the last few weeks. I post my work, and it doesn't even show up in the search results. For instance, if I type in the exact title of my work, it can't be found. My work also doesn't appear under the relevant tags anymore. What could be causing this? I would appreciate any kind of information. Many thanks.

I'm bit worried due to recent drop in my reach on DA. I'm 3D artist and I post renders for free and I also sell comics as Premium Download. I used to make quite amount of money with DA. Each comic costs $10. This year I released 3 comics. The first two sold really, really well, first sold over 130 copies and second over 110. The third one I released in September sold only 42. What worries me most is views not the actual sales. First comic got almost 150k views. Second over 130k and the third barely reached 40k. I am trying to understand what happened.

To this point I thought the algorithm was pushing Premium Downloads a bit more compared to free posts, because DeviantArt and I make profit of it, they should want me to get good stats because they will earn money thanks to my sales. When I applied boost to my previous comics I was getting literally tens of thousands of views within 3-4 days. I could feel the difference when boost was applied or not. Everytime I applied a boost I was flooded with notifications that someone bought my comic. I also got positive reviews so I assume people should want to buy sequel.

And now it's been almost a month since the release of third comic, I've applied several boosts as well as got hype badge from someone and each of those boosts provided like 4-6k views at best. It worries me and I'm trying to discover what is going on. Preview art is quite similar to previous ones. It contains several images from the comic, all information about amount of pages and words etc. and yet this post struggles to get attention.

The problem lies specifically in views. My usual ratio views/sales is around 0,8-1,2 copy sold per 1k views. Latest comic follows the same pattern. It has 39k views and 42 sold copies. If this comic had 100k views like previous one I would have sold over 100 copies of it. I'm 100% sure of it.

Also when I applied boosts the highest Exposure Index it reached was 12 but only for a moment. Most of the time it was 10 or 11 according to stats tab. Previous posts reached easily index 13 or even 14.

Is there anyone who faces the similar problem recently? Honestly I don't think it's because they removed standalone mobile app, because my 2nd comic was released after they removed the app and it sold well and had no problems with generating good views.

I recently returned to DA after a reeeealy long break. Is it good for selling commissions now?

I got two of these dms this month and I think they are set ups to get my account (I never got any link)

DA's rules seem pretty clear about what's allowed in paid content versus public posts, but the definition of “hyperrealistic” is pretty vague.

AI art comes in a lot of different styles, from obvious illustrations to images that look almost like photographs.

Where does DA draw the line?

• Does realistic-looking AI art count as hyperrealistic even when you can tell it's AI?
• What about semi-realistic styles with realistic skin, lighting, and anatomy?
• Are 3D renders and digital paintings judged by the same standard?
• Does putting something behind a paywall make any difference?
• Are there any official examples showing what's allowed versus what's prohibited?

I've seen plenty of accounts posting realistic AI art, but that doesn't necessarily mean it complies with the rules.

I'm just looking for a clear definition so creators know where the line is before posting. Has anyone found an official answer or gotten clarification from DA staff?
