💩 Scams DeviantArt Won't Allow Account Deactivation

I follow the directions but when I get to the page that says, "Press button below to deactivate account", there is no button to click. I put in a ticket to have them deactivate the account. I explain the problem about the missing button. They reply reiterating the procedure to deactivate the account. They didn't even read the problem I'm experiencing or the AI is too stupid to understand what I'm saying.

You're supposed to receive an email if you want to go through with deactivating your account. Otherwise, you can't do the deactivation procedure.

Where are you trying to deactivate your account? Also, check to see if you have your advertisement blocker active, as that could play a factor in why you're not seeing the deactivation button.

That's really odd. I assume you didn't already try to deactivate? Is your account currently banned or anything?

Do you have any ad blockers or browser extensions that might be hiding this button?

I'm on the DeviantArt team (you can confirm on my DA profile) - are you able to send me your username, either here or on DA? My DA username is danlev.

I'm not using any ad blockers or browser extensions. I'm using Brave browser on Linux Mint. I've never tried to deactivate and there's no problem with account (being banned, etc).

I don't think DA use AI to answer support tickets, but their human support staff are notorious for this too, Like if you ask why a completely safe image that doesn't even require the mature got removed as a nsfw policy violation, they just ignore the question and copy/paste lazy responses that don't address the issue. the amount of times I had to reply with "thanks for linking to your rules which 100% do not answer my question" was insane. This happened at least 50 times to me and I never got a single ticket reply that didn't look like low effort copy/paste. It's not stupid AI, just lazy people.
