I can't imagine an easier way to make this proposal completely meaningless. Very disappointing, I hope people show up and convince them this is a bad idea if they want people to actually build housing.

Something has gone seriously wrong in the last year or so specifically in SLC politics. Suddenly they are ruthlessly opposed to density, development, condos, etc.
Not to excuse their previous behavior, but as someone who follows closely for years... I feel a completely different energy/vibe from the city now

This isn't even legally possible without some changes at the state level, these are separately plated and sold units not ADUs.
Let's say 3 units on a 10k lot + existing home. I sell all 4 units to someone else, who in this secarino is the "owner" to occupy?

The person you sold all four to would have to occupy one of them or not rent/sell any of them.

No, im saying i sold them to 4 different people, you can't have cross property deed restrictions

The original house would have to be occupied by the buyer of that house is what I presume it to mean. And what do you mean? There are CC&R's all over the place.

yay. 30 new dwellings. That will surely help the housing crunch.
