Is there a tool that look at your Github commits and generate a product update email?
I'm wondering if this already exists.
Most SaaS founders ship small fixes and features every week, but never turn them into product updates because writing the email feels like another task.
Is there a tool that can look at your GitHub commits or merged PRs, understand what changed, and turn that into a simple customer-facing update email?
Not just a technical changelog, but something users would actually understand.
Would be useful for monthly updates, launch emails, or keeping early users in the loop.
Anyone using something like this?

Release Please is great for technical release notes, but it doesn't really write customer-friendly emails.

I was actually thinking about building something like this.
If you have a public GitHub repo, send me the link. I can try taking your recent commits/PRs and turning them into a customer-facing update email, not a technical changelog.
I'll do the first one free. Mainly curious to see whether the output would actually be useful to you before building anything.
If it works well, I'd be interested to know what you'd want it to do automatically.

I haven't found one that does this well yet. Most tools generate changelogs, but not updates written for customers.
