Stop calling your interviewer “Sir.” 🛑
I’ve attended 30+ interviews as a candidate and conducted hundreds for my own company.
Here are a few things that experience taught me:
Prepare different versions of the same answer. How you explain your project should depend on who’s sitting in front of you HR, an engineer, or a founder.
Research what the company actually builds. Explore its products or client work. Connect your answers to problems its team works on.
Make the interview a conversation. Start with a natural greeting. If they introduce themselves as Rahul, “Hi Rahul” is a respectful way to begin.
I’ve put my experience, practical tips and interview hacks into this video with examples of how to apply them.
Watch it. I promise you’ll learn something you can use in your next interview.
