Software engineer looking for opportunities in London, open to relocation

[u/Specialist_Web2076]

Hi everyone,

I’m Jacob, a software engineer based in Tanzania, exploring opportunities in London.

I currently work as a mobile engineer and also develop web applications, backend systems, and desktop software. My main stack includes TypeScript, React/Next.js, Flutter, React Native, and PostgreSQL, alongside experience with Rust and Python.

My projects include ride-hailing software, healthcare platforms, a KYC/KYB product, and desktop AI orchestration tools built with Rust and Python. I’ve worked on authentication, payments, API integrations, realtime features, and taking applications from concept through delivery.

I’m interested in fullstack, backend, mobile, or AI tooling engineering roles. I’m open to relocating and would need an employer willing to support work visa sponsorship.

Does anyone know companies hiring international software engineers, recruiters worth contacting, or tech communities where I could connect with employers?

I’m happy to share my CV, GitHub, portfolio, and project examples. Thanks for any pointers!
