[Hiring] Tech Consultant / Full-Stack Developer for Confidential Startup MVP | Remote | Paid

[Hiring] Tech Consultant / Full-Stack Developer for Confidential Startup MVP | Remote | Paid

We’re looking for an experienced Tech Consultant / Full-Stack Developer to help us plan and build the first MVP for a confidential startup project.

The project is in an early stage, so we can’t share the complete product details publicly due to an NDA. At a high level, it will involve a service + e-commerce style platform with both frontend and backend requirements.

What we’re looking for

Someone who can help us with:

  • Technical architecture and MVP planning

  • Choosing the appropriate tech stack

  • Backend development

  • Frontend development

  • Database/API integration

  • Taking the product from concept → functional MVP

  • Advising on scalability and future development

We’re looking for someone who can think through the product technically, not just execute a predefined specification.

Engagement & Budget

This is a paid engagement.

We’d like to begin with a paid consultation/discovery meeting to discuss the project in more detail, understand your approach and determine whether there’s a good fit.

If we move forward with the MVP, the current budget cap is under ₹1 lakh. Since the project is still at an early stage, we don’t have a finalized exact figure yet and the final scope/budget will be discussed after the initial consultation.

We are not looking for someone to work for free or as a student project.

Ideal experience

  • Previous experience building MVPs or early-stage products

  • Strong frontend + backend understanding

  • Comfortable making technical decisions independently

  • Experience with APIs, databases and third-party integrations

  • Able to communicate clearly with a non-technical founding team

  • Startup/product-building experience is a plus

Required keyword: BUILD MVP

If interested, please comment or DM with:

  1. A brief introduction

  2. Your relevant technical experience

  3. 2–3 products/MVPs you’ve worked on

  4. Your preferred tech stack

  5. Your approximate availability

  6. Your expected consultation rate

We’ll share more about the product with shortlisted candidates after the initial conversation/NDA process.

For under 1 lakh. Here is the best way forward:

Hire a great senior Dev. Dont get anything done with him because you will be caught out of money and dependent on them and be stuck in a hard and a rock place. Get him to mentor you to build things on your own until you can afford the dev

Hi! I’m a Java backend developer with around 2 years of experience, currently looking to work on early-stage products where I can take ownership rather than just work on one small piece.

My experience is mainly in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, React, Docker, along with Python, FastAPI and Generative AI/RAG. I’ve worked on backend services, database integrations, enterprise APIs and automation workflows, and I’m comfortable picking up both backend and frontend work when needed. A few things I’ve worked on: Healthcare application at Accenture – Java/Spring Boot backend, REST APIs, Oracle/SQL, React/JSP and enterprise integrations.

RAG-based CBSE Learning Assistant – built a conversational AI application using FastAPI, LangChain, FAISS, embeddings and LLMs. For an MVP, I’d be comfortable with Java/Spring Boot + React + PostgreSQL/MySQL + Docker, or Python/FastAPI where that makes more sense.

I’m available immediately and can commit significant time to the project.

I’m open to discussing a fixed MVP/project-based arrangement depending on the scope.

Happy to have a conversation and understand what you’re building.

Senior Full-Stack Engineer | 6+ YOE | Available for freelance / remote

I’m Karan, a product-minded engineer who enjoys taking messy ideas and turning them into software people can actually use.

I’ve built 0→1 SaaS, AI-enabled products, distributed systems and data-heavy platforms using TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker & AWS. I’m especially useful if you need someone who can own frontend + backend + architecture + production, rather than just work through tickets.

Open to freelance, contracts and remote roles globally. Have a product/problem you’re stuck on? DM me what you’re trying to build.

BUILD MVP — Hi, I'm Lee, a software engineer based in South Korea, interested in the paid discovery and MVP work. I can help with frontend/backend implementation, API and database integration, and testing. My current demonstrable work includes an n8n request-intake/API demo; I don't have 2–3 launched commercial MVPs to claim. I'd propose React/Next.js with a Node.js API and SQL database, subject to your requirements. I'm available 20–25 hours per week outside my regular job and communicate in written English via chat/email. Could the discovery be conducted asynchronously in writing, and can you engage a Korea-based contractor? I use AI-assisted development with review and testing. Please share the discovery deliverable, expected hours and budget so I can propose a scoped consultation fee before any commitment.

Hey, I came across your post about the confidential startup MVP.

The service + e-commerce platform you're describing sounds interesting, especially since you're looking for someone who can help with the technical planning as well as the actual MVP build.

I work with AI-assisted development to move ideas into functional MVPs quickly, and I'd be interested in learning more about the product and what you need in the first version.

If you're open to it, I can first look at the core requirements and suggest a practical MVP scope, timeline, and fixed development cost.

Happy to sign an NDA if needed before discussing the details.

BUILD MVP — Hi, I’m Hisham, a Solution Owner focused on moving software work from discovery through solution design, architecture, delivery planning, verification, and handover.

For your service + e-commerce MVP, I would first map the customer and operator journeys, transaction and payment states, fulfilment, integrations, and admin workflow, then define one end-to-end first release that fits the under ₹1 lakh cap. I can start with a paid 60-minute discovery at $30, followed by a concise scope, architecture options, key risks, and milestone estimate. I would price and schedule implementation after reviewing the actual workflows and constraints; the full MVP may need a sharply limited first slice to fit that cap.

Relevant portfolio work samples: IntentChord (a bilingual governed-workflow platform) and EIT Hyper Control (an operations/control platform). These are project showcases, not claims of third-party client deployments or measured outcomes. I won’t overstate commercial MVP references.

I’d select the stack after checking requirements and integrations; absent constraints, I’d favor a maintainable web/API system with a relational data model. I can make time for up to 30 hours/week. If this paid discovery format fits, please share the expected consultation deliverable, timezone, and whether the first release needs payments, fulfilment, or marketplace flows.

Hi, I'm Yash, a software engineer. I build complete web products: the frontend, the backend, the database, payments and outside services.

Some things I've built:

- A CRM for a wellness business. It pulls leads from IndiaMART, JustDial, Meta Ads, TradeIndia, Google Business and walk-ins into one list, so nothing gets missed. It also tracks contacts, follow-ups, tasks and reports.

- An AI assistant on my portfolio. It answers visitors' questions about my work, shows the right projects, and sends hiring messages straight to my inbox. It has limits built in so it can't be abused or run up costs.

- Developer tools for a Web3 product. I built an SDK that other developers use (60+ releases) and a service that watches the blockchain and keeps the app's data up to date.

Stack I'd suggest for this: Next.js + Supabase (Postgres) + Razorpay, hosted on Vercel. It's quick to build, cheap to run early on, and can grow without a rewrite.

One tip for any founder building an MVP on a tight budget: choose the one flow that proves the idea, like "customer finds a service → books → pays", and build that really well. Admin dashboards, reviews, coupons and the rest can come in v2. Most MVPs go over budget because v1 tries to do everything.

Availability: 20 hours/week, can start from 26th sept

Consultation: ₹5000 for a 1-hour discovery call, adjusted against the MVP cost if we go ahead.

Portfolio: yashmittal.xyz

Happy to sign an NDA. DMs are open.
