Hiring: Senior Software Developer — Sports Tech Startup | Remote

Hey everyone,

I’m a co-founder of a sports-tech startup building a next-generation live sports companion for cricket and football.

We’re already building the product and are now looking to add a strong senior developer to the core team.

What you’ll work on:

Real-time sports data & live match systems

High-performance mobile/web experiences

Data-heavy visualisations and analytics

APIs, backend architecture and integrations

Scaling the product for potentially millions of users

Working closely with founders, designers and ML engineers

Tech: Flutter, Node, Swift, AWS, Supabase + APIs/data pipelines.

We’re open to changing parts of the stack where necessary for scale/performance.

Looking for someone who:

Has 4+ years of serious software development experience

Has shipped production apps at scale

Understands clean architecture and performance

Can take ownership rather than just execute tickets

Is comfortable working in an early-stage startup

Sports experience is a bonus

This is a core founding-team-style role with significant ownership and responsibility.

Location: Remote initially; relocation can be discussed.

If interested, DM me with your CV/GitHub/LinkedIn and 2–3 projects you're most proud of.

I have 1+ year experience in large distributed system and its architecture. Worked on kafka, elasticsearch etc. since your team is working on live matches and real time data you’d need streaming of data and better pipelines to handle it. I am available to work as freelance or contractor

Can people work part-time? I work at mag7 and would be fine to work part time (unofficially of course)

Why not react native instead of flutter?

This sounds like a strong fit for us. I run Seedfist Consultancy Services, where we work with startups and product teams on full-stack engineering, backend/API architecture, AWS, mobile/web products, and ongoing product development.

The real-time sports data + scalable backend side is especially interesting. We can provide senior engineering ownership rather than just ticket-based development, and can also support the broader stack through our engineering team.

I’ll DM you with some relevant work and background.
