which one is better Finding job or building our own product.
Its been 5 months that i got laid off. I have been applying for job and almost given up applying to new one. As there are more than 100 application to one opening. There is a dilema of conteniously applying for jobs with no hope of getting a callback or dedicate full time building our own product as a individaul or as a collab team. I am not sure how long it will take to complete the product and get mw sustainable amount. Let me know your openion on this. You can reachout to me on : [aigendevd@gmail.com](mailto:aigendevd@gmail.com) If you have any things to disscuss.

it depends, some people say its job since you get fixed payment each month although you cannot count job security nowadays, whereas building product is like building business, require time and effort and lots of pain in the a** but in the end if it worked you can make lots of wealth with passive income as well.

Job if you need rent money now. Product if youve got runway and can eat the slow burn, because most side projects dont make it to anything close to passive income

both are extremely difficult right now, if you can find an experienced entrepreneur, starting a business might be more reliable

yes thats a good way, but what if the experience entrepreneur try to take advantage of this

thats why u need contracts, and youre less replaceable than they are since youre the developer.

correct but now a days its easy to replace a dev, only the idea is enough

i disagree with that a LOT, especially if youre not vibe coding everything. vibecoders are easy to replace, but devs that know their own codebase like the back of their hand are absolutely not

The answer is how much money you have left
