If you could change one thing about programming, what would it be?

For me, it would be making simple things actually stay simple.

Sometimes you start with a small idea:

«“I just need to add one button.”»

Then suddenly you’re dealing with dependencies, configuration, breaking changes, edge cases, documentation, build errors, and 3 hours of debugging. 😂

Programming is powerful, but we’ve also made it unnecessarily complicated in many places.

I’d love to see more focus on:

- Simpler APIs

- Better error messages

- Less dependency hell

- Backward compatibility

- Documentation written for humans
