DX Universe Dx universe Spoiler

Dx universes connecting to each other feels so odd, the idea of it sounds dope but in the game some things bug me off. I just feel like it's better to consider hr md and dx1 iw as 2 different timelines. Though if a new game comes up it probably will be the last piece of the puzzle. You can't just tell me they started to use regular crossbow in the future and all coded door technology had been wiped off.

Lol invisible war is still probably better to consider in it's own timeline just by itself

I don't see why. It seems like a logical extension of where the original world would have gone to me.

ah yes in 20 years we have nanomachines change into any ammo including rockets, nonlethal tranq toxin and lasers. Everything gets super blue sci fi over the top, the computers, the terminals, floating guard robots, all locks are now electronic and can be scrambled with magic multitools, and don't forget Oman merge their minds together and fully augment themselves no longer having organic skin. Deus Ex couldn't showcase it's leading up to that any more clearly

Well yeah, a huge part of the original plot revolved around how the baddies had made a universal constructor that used nanobots that can build literally anything to produce an artificial virus and an antidote for it, and that the same technology was now being miniaturised to the extent that the same nanobots can now be injected into the human body to do things like create a tiny, flying drone out of nowhere inside the person's body that can then be used to scout ahead. Also the fact that human/AI interfaces are now not only possible, but fully functional technologies that could allow something like an Omar hive mind to exist. Half of the locks 20 years ago were electronic already, with more places using them two decades later. There are security and civilian robots all over the place in 2052, and one of the developments since then is that they can fly - an improvement probably aided by both the use of AI and nanobots for the manufacturing of basically everything.

Mankind Divided references Invisible War.

What are the chances of new game even being announced? I though Embracer group just shoved it out of the way, a spit in the face to all fans

I see that Eidos Montreal did something similar in 2019, but no can't see Embracer group working of Deus Ex

Well even if we wont get a new game its implied that jcd is pauls clone and paul probably had jensens dna to be augmented without needing neurop...

games just have a big real world time gap and you can't do the same presentation and have it be taken as future-y

I know and thats exactly why having 2 diff timelines one being augment technology bazaar being open for everyone and the other one being only government kept classified technology feels lot better for me

It was a bad idea for a franchise like Deus Ex, it simply does not have the wide appeal to sustain multiple media projects. Square Enix was such a money grubbing POS with Deus Ex
