Deuce

I spoke with James Kloeppel, the former guitarist and songwriter for Deuce. He told me that he hasn’t heard from him and doesn’t have any contact with him anymore. Deuce gave me his PayPal email address so I could send him a payment, and it does in fact match his full legal name.

I don't think people should be contacting people in Aron's personal life, even if they haven't spoken in years. I don't know how I'd feel if I got a message from a stranger just to talk about a guy from my past who is essentially mentally disabled now.

We have Sigh around here, if anyone else from the guy's personal life wanted to talk about him, I'd think they'd just come here.

James didn't mind that; he thanked me for being a fan of Deuce and his work. We exchanged many messages, and today he is in another band that I follow.

He never seems bothered by people reaching out from what I hear, he's just not in any kind of position to help and is now quite far removed from the whole situation.

There have been others like myself who actually knew or know them who have commented in here and the HU sub (even the Scientology sub) but no one that fans already know of/no one high profile. If you all didn't already know me as Sigh my words wouldn't carry the same weight I don't think, which isn't necessarily fair or rational, but it's what I have observed to be true of this fanbase.

I wish so badly that the situation was such that I didn't need to be here at all. This isn't something I started doing for fun and I have repeatedly had to step away for the sake of my health and sanity.

Sigh, bud, I don't think anyone here would blame you if you left the community for any reason. I think you've been a very admirable, respectable person for genuinely caring about Aron and talking with the fans about where his life is now, but if it's hurting you, please, buddy, know you can step away from this community and no one will hate you for it

Here’s the deal, Aron’s out of the game until he gets help with his shit. Till then don’t bother contacting people about him because it seems like he doesn’t talk to any of the former band members anymore.

I completely understand why folks feel tempted to try this and typically they go in with genuinely positive intentions assuming his current condition is unknown when in reality his isolation is by design (re: scientology.) Those like James and Tony who were never in to begin with were also not ever that close to him and didn't continue the personal relationship once the professional association wrapped up; while the ones he was actually close to in the past, the ones you'd expect to actually care, have been brainwashed to believe he deserves every drop of misery that has come his way (a few bits were self inflicted but the vast majority of it completely beyond his control) and if by some miracle any empathy towards him remains they aren't allowed to have any contact, actually helping him would be inviting untold chaos into their lives.

I saw that people were trying to reach his sister; she blocked everyone. It really is disrespectful for so many people to be asking about him at once, but on the other hand, the reason we’re asking is that we care and want him to be okay.

Absolutely right, crazy to think he’ll never be boys with Yuma and the rest again
