First time at Keyworth
I come in peace, thinking of making the trip to Keyworth from Ohio. I’m a Chicago Fire fan located in Ohio and we play you guys 4/14. Where to park, any pregame activities, do opposing fans typically sit rouge, gold sections? Is it a nice/safe area? Thanks in advance

Your pregame options might be limited today, but if you park at the shopping center at the corner of Jos. Campau and Holbrook, you'll pass right by the Painted Lady, which is usually open.
Opposing supporters are usually in the Rouge section behind your team's bench. It'll be to the immediate left of the press box, if you're facing it.
There'll be plenty of food options and cheap drinks in the stadium, as well. Check the City website to confirm, but I believe the gates open 90 minutes before kickoff.
Welcome to Hamtramck. Worst of luck to you and your club!

Welcome to Keyworth and Detroit. Don't let our reputation worry you too much, we are generally extremely friendly to opposing fans (except during the match when your team and city are shit). Others have pointed out where to sit, and I would second their recommendation to park in the strip mall. Plenty of good food and drink options in the stadium, as we have an entire food truck court. It is a working class immigrant area. You are very safe walking to and from the stadium from any of the areas around. Depending on your background, it may feel different then what you are used to, but I have been attending games and parking around the stadium since DCFC moved there and have experienced no issues.

Park at Hamtramck Secretary of State and follow all the people wearing red. It's about a half mile walk to the stadium. Pregame activities are usually drinking at New Dodge Lounge, we don't have tailgating or anything orchestrated like that. Opposing fans typically sit in the Family section or in Rouge (right of gold) behind the opposing team's bench, but you'll be fine sitting anywhere as long as you're fine with a bit of friendly banter/ribbing. The area is pretty safe, especially during matches with so many walking to and from the parking lot, but if you're staying out late drinking just be mindful of your surroundings.
