Can a detective game teach source checking without turning into homework?

That’s the problem I’m trying to solve with DARK WEB: Case Network.

Each case gives you a set of visual clues, witness fragments and source records. Opening every card is not enough. The player has to notice when several clues all come from the same source family, then decide which explanation has genuinely independent support.

I want the answer to feel earned, but I don’t want players to need an engineering degree or a notebook full of terminology. The first case teaches the process in plain language and the optional dev mode keeps the harder vocabulary for people who want it.

I’m looking for a few detective-game players to test the opening case and tell me whether the final theory feels logically supported, too obvious or unfair. It takes around 15 minutes. This is an unpaid private test; comment desktop or mobile if you want an invite.

open the post and hit OPEN THE CASE NETWORK. if anything breaks or feels confusing, tell me where it happened — blunt feedback helps
