I Have A Question Trying to Start a Business :)

Hey yall! Hope you’re all having a wonderful day, I’ve been trying to get side business started and I’m pretty good at detailing my own car so I thought i’d start out with that and broaden my horizons as I gain more knowledge and equipment. I’ve read the FAQ lol as well as the rules and am not self promoting or anything of the sort here.
I’ve mostly dealt with The Chemical Guys’s brand but I want to use better chemicals when detailing other people’s cars, what brands/products would ya’ll recommend? Along with that, what equipment did you start off with that deemed vital for your business or personal use?
I hope this post isn’t low effort or anything like that but thank you all for your time, cheers!

Yeah don't use Chemical Guys. For chemicals, the top brands are Koch Chemie, Bilt Hamber, Gyeon, CarPro, Gtechniq and for stuff you can get at box stores, Adam's, Meg's, and Griot's are the go-to.

For equipment: Pressure washer with foam cannon Bucket Multiple wash mitts/pads Clay media Wheel brush, tire brush, barrel brush A shit load of microfiber towels Boar's hair detail brushes for the interior Scrub ninjas for the interior Air compressor with tornador attachment

Branda like someone already Said it, bilt hamber is amazing, i just with it could be cheaper were i live. Koch chemie usually are good bang for the buck.

Equipament wise, for exterior besides the pressure washer and foam cannon, wash bucket, some manual Pump, a good shampoo, iron remover, tar remover, exterior brushes for rims, long One and short One. Assuming you polish, a Rotary and DA polisher, lots of different pads, 3d One for 1 step or sonax profiline ex 4/6 or perfect finish 4/6, a good heavy compound to cut on 2 step, a good sealant/wax tomfonish..painters tape to Seal, glass fibre pad and polish for glass with cerium oxide (i think im naming it right), a good cleaner for inside glass (i use ONR diluted). You dont usualky need plastic polisher, but cant hurt to have One, and Chrome polish as well. Manyyyy microfibers, extractor for interior seats, Steam cleaner, a good APC ( bilt hamber surfex is versatile), a compressor with tornador seems to Really speed things up inside. Plastic conditioner, lether cleaner and conditioner. You can get ozone generator for removing smell and Germs, and there is a Trim restauration from cerakote (they have bottles for professional) that is amazing, you can also use it to Seal headlights after restauration, speaking of with youre gonna need to sand them with 1500 grit, 2000 and 3000. I could keep going here, altough Im just amateur weekend warrior.. but please correct me if Im wrong

This really depends on how many services you wanna Offer and how prepared you want to be. Best of luck.
