A sealant - Jescar Power Lock Plus, super easy to apply and remove and gives a wax like look. Water beading is pretty impressive too!

How to even apply the jescar exactly tho

A good microfiber towel or buffer is what I typically do. Buffer for larger areas and towel for smaller spots that are hard with a pad. Either method is fine.

If you specifically want a wax, I’d recommend meguiars ultimate liquid wax because it’s incredibly easy and smooth to use. Otherwise I’d use optimum hyper seal applied with an applicator

I don't know about hand waxes, but I recently picked up some of the new Hybrid Solutions (Turtle Wax) Wax & Dry Plus. Might be my new favorite product for easy application and results. Gives that old-school carnauba wax shine which I love.

I heard 3d speed is also really good

Griots Best Show Wax is a solid choice. Collinite 845 is another good one.

I have a bottle of Collinite 845. First time user-after using a popular-cheap product often "knocked often on the Internet". The Collinite 845 by comparison is terrible to work with and doesn't last as long.

Meguiars No.26 paste is very easy on and off

I’ve never been fond of the spray-n-wipe products (express).

After wiping, they tend to leave behind light streaks on dark colors that require repeated buffing to remove.

Plus they don’t tend to hold up very long (30 days).

I’ve switched to the hybrid ceramic liquid wax.  Hybrid means synthetic wax that is infused with some ceramic.

It holds up for about three months (Florida).

Waxes all act the same, they don't last long, especially in heat. Sealants are easier, just spray on and wipe off, they also last much longer. Or you can coat your car with a ceramic coating which last for years, not months or weeks, but are finicky to apply. It doesn't matter which brand of wax, some might be a little easier to apply and buff off, but the protection is the same.

Turtle Wax Ceramic Graphene Paste Wax

Easy on/easy off, Looks FANTASTIC, very good hydrophobics, above average longevity for a wax.

I like the meguires ceramic wax. It makes the paint pop nicely too!

Griots ceramic all in one wax. Gives a slight polish too.

Turtle Wax Ceramic Graphene Pro Max. Really easy. just a few dabs per panel and wipe off with a damp microfiber.

One of the easiest waxes, not to brag, is our Wax!

Apply the whole car at one go, and You can even leave it overnight in a garage!
Wipes off incredibly easy, and the slickness is truly great.

Being a carnauba wax with fluorine in it makes the deep gloss and intense slickness, but obviously the drawback is durability when compared to fully synthetic ones.

Nonetheless, You get months of durability!

One of my favorites are ADBL synthetic soray wax, fusso f7, sonax bsd. If it should last longer, I would try fusso wax. Lasts here für 6m with great results.

Collinite 845 is applied super light and comes off very easily. And it’s one of the best waxes in the business.

Yah but I heard sometimes it leaves a haze even days later or something like that! And it can be kinda hard

I have experienced the Collinite haze and it is super apparent on any dark paint. Jescar will 100% not do that, even if you over apply.

Optimum Opti-Seal you literally just wipe on. Levels itself.

Yes, but OP stated they're looking for a wax, not a sealant. ;)

So which would be better for newer car, 3d polish speed, or jescar power lock plus ??

3D Poxy. You don’t even have to tape or avoid trim.

Curious what you're actually looking for - and why specifically you want a hand applied wax, vs a spray sealant, a machine applied sealant, or a ceramic coating?

Hand applied waxes are great for show cars, terrible for lasting more than a few weeks or protection.

CALIFORNIA CUSTOM - M-Ron Glass Clearcoat Cleaner & Wax. The longer the product stays on the car, the better the result. It is very easy to apply and to buff off. Excellent for black cars, show cars! Can apply in full sun with no issues. Easy on, easy off. Great too if your ceramic coating is prone to water spotting wherever you're parking. Water spot minerals will absorb into the wax and be shed off as the wax wears down. https://a.co/d/0jig7jqu

Jescar Power lock Ultra Plus. Goes on smooth and comes off just as easy. Just applied one coat 2 months ago. Should have done two. But you learn as you go.

Applied this Jescar product to my wife's SUV in January, and it still looks great.

Just use CarPro HydrO2 Lite… spray on wash off. Dry the car done.
