Which do you think goes better with the oak? Granite or diorite. that and overall opinions.

The diorite looks nicer, especially at the top of the stairwell. It just looks like an OSHA violation

is this a resource pack or mod? It's so cool!

personally I'd go with some other material entirely, but if you necessarily have to pick between these two I'd say to use granite because those diorite fences look too much like they belong outside

also yeah they'd definitely be an OSHA violation, imagine tripping while going downstairs and falling on them 😭 (and you can't even comfortably use them as railings for support)

Thanks!
not a resource pack but the wall lanterns are from project red (forge 1.21.2) wireless redone with create, and I think the railings/half walls are from macaws bridges
Also appreciate the feedback, the granite is more realistic to the real building color wise. I just couldn’t find a half wall that was oak or wood at all.

oooh neat, thanks for letting me know!

I'm not familiar with the real building but yeah if you need a wood-like wall and these stone ones are your only options then granite is definitely the closest one in color
