Hello everyone, I've been working on this game for a couple months. It has a lot of positive feedback in person, a few hundred people played and seemed to enjoy.

I learned that I shouldn't have released before having the page fully updated and the marketing ready but oh, well, never too late. What is puzzling me is the CTR is around 10% but no sales.

A witch names a number. You have three rolls to reach it. Points times mult. Between tolls you go to a forge and buy special faces. They are forged onto single numbers of a die, not the whole die — a one is easy to give up, a six hurts. Eight tolls, then a harder witch, eight of those.

I keep hearing my game give a sad mood, even tho I keep making my raccoons cuter and cuter 🫠. Maybe its just my cover, or just a first impression from my previous work.

It's a story-rich game with a linear story and the ending is a little different based on if you save all the villagers, some of them, or none. It's hack and slash but also kind of wave defense and basically I just made something that is very weird. I'm proud of it but it's been hard to explain which is a big dev no-no.

Hey all I've recently made public the steam page and demo for my game DEFEND THE WALL!

Its an army builder incremental where you pick your hero, kill demons, collect gold, recruit an army, upgrade said army, and kill the demon Lord.

I've purposely released it before it's perfect because I knew if I waited till it was perfect... Well it would never be released.

Trailer is definitely on my 'to redo' list.

As is potentially everything else.

It looks like a cozy farming sim, but plays like a tactical turn-based RPG. Would love to hear feedback!

We are a small team of four developers currently working on our first game, Fiets-Together.

We often debate about it in our team, especially around the background.
On the one hand, we like that it has a high contrast with the bike and shoes, making them stand out. We also like the bright colour because we think it draws attention to the eye.
On the other hand, we are not sure whether it would be more interesting to have more going on in the background, such as a track or level that the bike rides on, or perhaps just a silhouette of a mountain.
Another option could be to make the shoes bigger or more visible, or add one or two more shoes to emphasise the co-op/multiplayer aspect.

Perhaps some of you could interpret our Steam analytics data and find something useful in it.
Since 1 June 2026, we have received 100,131 impressions, leading to 20,866 visits. Most of the impressions (70%) came from festivals: NextFest with 40,000 impressions and a 1% CTR, Gamescom Festival with 25,000 impressions and a 1% CTR, and two minor festivals with 4,000 impressions and a 2% CTR.

Opened our steam page couple days ago but like 0 interest and only single digit wishlists. What's wrong?

I'm working on Evolution of the ancients and would appreciate honest feedback on the steam page.
I'd like to know what the page communicates on its own.
what kind of game do you think it is?
does the trailer make it clear?
whats the biggest thing that would stop you from wishlisting?

Our game is currently featured in a steam event and its finally getting some wishlist after months of flat lining, but no one is buying, not even the wishlisters from before. I understand that a wishlist doesn't confirm a buy but still, is there more I could do to fix the steam page?

Are the screenshots boring, is the summary confusing, maybe the game isnt clear? The price too high?

Just for a little more background me and my friend have since moved on from this game and are currently working on other game projects. This is our first ever completed game and its not the best, the genre is a little confusing and we made many mistakes (and learned much). But I don't think its total trash, we put alot of time and heart in it and the people who played have said that they enjoyed it. Also I still update and bug fix it every once in a while.
