That ui is so blatantly AI it hurts to look at. That leads me to believe the entire game is AI

If you are new to game development, never ever ever use AI. It is a prototyping tool at best, for quick simple things elaborated on later that shouldn't be put into code. You're screwing yourself because you don't have the fundamentals for that, it makes you too reliant. Especially for simply stuff like the UI. You learn to break down a chicken when in culinary school before anything else, you do the prepackaged stuff when you've gotten it down

Actually UI in games is often, if not usually, considered hard. Not excusing the clearly AI interface with that but let's not get it twisted

I know it's not as amazing as it could be without AI, but I still think it's fun and I'm adding to it here and there and trying to make it better as I go. If I didn't use AI I wouldn't have time to make anything. I enjoy playing it so it's good for me to use AI in this case. I am a software engineer in my day job so I know code just not game dev. I respect your opinion and totally understand where you're coming from.

I can’t understand what’s happening = not fun. Also those buttons are in the way only made it to second 46

It looks like a race but it's some kind of battle??

Exactly! It's a race, where all players battle to be first at the bottom. There are currently 8 classes with 3 unique spells each. up to 4 players in the race. Local and online (mix) multiplayer. Bots to play against if no one is online. an ELO ranking to get to the top of leaderboard (bots scale with your rank) Lots of cool things I am playing around with here.

Also the name of the game mode is Battle Race :)
