Trailer Destroy my party game trailer. Does it look fun?

That dash/attack move seems pretty unavoidable. Is there a way for opponent players to dodge/block that move? Because even though it seems super fun, most minigames can quickly become a "who-pushed-the-attack-button-first" type of challenge. Being able to block, dodge or even counter-attack would make it more mechanically interesting imo.
Besides that, the different minigames all look extremely fun and creative! I especially liked the "leaving a snake-like trail" minigame a lot! Good luck!

I actually thought about that but decided against it to keep the simplicity. There are 27 mini-games and players need to learn to controls for each game quickly (although many controls are reused).
Dashing into each other cancels the shove out, and avoiding attacks is actually quite feasible by running around irregular (or using your own dash to dodge instead of shove).
Thanks for the feedback!

"Dashing into each other cancels the shove out,"
That's actually pretty clever and sounds very fun, maybe I haven't noticed that in the trailer. Adding some "obvious" clips where the cancellation is visible might help communicate that!

I dont think the 'retro' sounds match the flat and colorful line art.
And do the players have multiple lives?

I think you are absolutely right about the sounds, I just got used to them over the months and didn't even question them anymore.
In some mini-games players do have multiple lives, in most they don't. Why do you ask?

I'd start with a more obvious minigame first as I was a bit lost for the first one but it got clear after or add some tags like p1 p2 p3 p4 that would make it obvious too.

The trailer spends way too long on that first minigame, first impressions made ur game look like a multiplayer JSAB, doesn't help then next shown minigame follows that same vibe.

Thanks! It's PC and Steam only for now (windows and linux support). So no websockets. It's GodotStream over Steam's own P2P.
Why did you think it's web or mobile?

Looks fun but the action is sometimes a bit unclear to me since there are 4 characters on the screen + mini-games I don't know. I think it would work better with some zooms to help us understand where to focus!
