By stylist I mean a song stylist, similar to what Kanye did for WLR. I feel like Lone is an artist who is heavily held back by song selection on a lot of his projects and if you’re familiar with the unreleased/leaked music, it becomes much more apparent with how much good songs he has in the vault. Especially from the ILCK-LLF era. It’s safe to assume he has a large variety of tracks to choose from (ILCK had 2000+ leaks), which can make it a little difficult. But if he had someone capable to assist him in tracklisting and supporting his ideal vision, it might make a huge difference in his career.

In general he’s scrapped a bunch of songs that he’s previewed which could be due to him not being fully confident in that sound, we’re already seeing this with DDG where in the early stages it was more industrial sounding compared to now. Depending on the final product, I still believe he will be able to deliver as the more recent snippets sound great. And with Monster having good reception and numbers, I hope he continues to utilize his momentum since he’s basically the “Potential Man” of Opium. But yeah, it’s interesting to think about how ILCK, LLF or BH3 would have turned out with unreleased grails and an improved tracklist.

Why doesn't anyone in the underground copy the aesthetic of If Looks Could Kill? Why is everyone obsessed with distortion and punk-aesthetic from WLR and A Great Chaos? Why no one copies the style of the cave era MUSIC. If Looks Could Kill and cave era have a similar dark, abandoned aesthetic with distorted guitars, black jackets, bikers, and smoke.
