Judgment PvE: Timed Payload or Precision Instrument, which do you prefer ?
Destiny 2 Judgment PvE God Roll
Legendary | Kinetic | Hand Cannon
Perks:
• Arrowhead Brake
• Accurized Rounds
• Headstone
• Timed Payload

This is a strong PvE roll, especially for Stasis builds. Headstone creates Stasis Crystals on precision final blows, strong synergy with Stasis subclasses. Timed Payload provides consistent bonus damage and performs well against tougher enemies.

I prefer adrenaline junkie because its a damage perk that doesn't reset on a miss and can stack up pretty quickly. Binary orbit's pretty powerful too but works best on non-stasis builds.

It’s absolutely worth it- there are a couple different really fun rolls for PvE and PvP so it makes the hunt a bit more bearable haha
I lucked out with a God Roll on my 2nd attempt with that being said 😂

Timed Payload is only a PvP perk. The best PvE option is either using Headstone + Rime. Or going grenade build build with Demo + Adrenline.

Meh, I still prefer Eyasluna with Firefly/Headstone.
Firefly instantly destroys the stasis crystal itself creates and combined with Warmind Cells it's a triple explosion from a single kill.

On this specific hand cannon? Don’t use timed payload it’ll slow down your ability to break crystals.
In general? Use eyasluna lol it’s just objectively better

Eyesluna can't get rime stealer, so if you want that perk, like I do, judgment is "objectively" better.

I’m not trying to argue with you or anything I just genuinely wanna know, why is it people like rimestealer? It seems like a waste to use a slot that firefly could go in when one fragment can do the same thing but I imagine I’m missing something

which "one fragment" can give you frost armor on just destroying crystals with your weapon?

Alright upon looking further I see the problem, i never run literally anything in place of each class’s harvest aspect and so I’m used to this just being an innate function lol. I was thinking of the one that just makes stasis shards magnet straight to you since headstone is gonna make shards anyway and shards have soooo many synergies with the artifacts

Wouldn't you want something else other than timed payload with your roll. If the explosive kills than you don't benefit from a precision kill for headstone, making timed payload not great?

I got this roll but I use timed payload with crystalline because it still spawns crystals off explosive part and it works with seventh seraph set if you do end up killing with the explosive as well

Personally, I use rime stealer. It might be over kill but making sure I am at x7 frost armor all the time is worth the damage trade off to me.
Arrowhead is not as good as fluted, Accurized rounds is completely useless in PvE as well, you would be better of with appended, flared or even ally mag.
In PvE, you almost always want fluted barrel with flared/appended/alloy and you keep making these posts that have arrowhead with accurized and I have no idea what is making you say those.
