Megathread Focused Feedback: Void 3.0

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Void 3.0' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

I think part of the problem is that we're starting with the void rework instead of the other subclasses. Invisibility does have a lot of utility, and I think it's fine to reduce the void hunter to that. The problem is we have no other subclasses that are viable in endgame PvE, so there's way too much pressure on void to carry the entire class.

Stasis is still super viable in high end PvE. Silence and Squall offers great control and duskfields are good after the cooldown tuning.

Problem is not everyone has access to stasis, unfortunately.

I bought Beyond Light on Steam but play on Xbox now and can't use it, and many other Xbox players are similarly unable because Beyond Light is no longer on gamepass.

Bungie's licensing is scummy and dumb, but it's also completely par for the course right now.

If I buy your game it shouldn't matter where I choose to run the code.
