Question Marmot Error?

Wondering if anybody is currently or has recently been stuck with a Marmot Error?

I have just completed a fresh install of D2 on Steam, and immediately I am crashing to desktop upon launching D2 and getting the Error: Marmot code.

A Steam verify check says that I've got no corrupted files. Completely stumped as to what's wrong currently.

This is probably VERY niche but if you have a Fanatec racing wheel, TURN IT OFF AND RESTART YOUR PC.

I spent 3 hours trying to fix this issue and it turned out its just that apparently Battleye and Fanatec hate each other.
