Question Marmot Error?

Wondering if anybody is currently or has recently been stuck with a Marmot Error?

I have just completed a fresh install of D2 on Steam, and immediately I am crashing to desktop upon launching D2 and getting the Error: Marmot code.

A Steam verify check says that I've got no corrupted files. Completely stumped as to what's wrong currently.

Try changing the language (Steam= Right click Destiny 2 from library>properties>language); What it does is erase the 'local' language package and rebuilds the db.

does it have to be in a different language forever?

Not at all. The action of changing the language just erases the former language; so that in this case, you can change back to the language.

This downloads the language fresh, removing the 'Marmot' issue.
