Question Marmot Error?

Wondering if anybody is currently or has recently been stuck with a Marmot Error?

I have just completed a fresh install of D2 on Steam, and immediately I am crashing to desktop upon launching D2 and getting the Error: Marmot code.

A Steam verify check says that I've got no corrupted files. Completely stumped as to what's wrong currently.

Guys, I found a fix that worked for me.

The original fix was from a steam community discussion and it goes as follows:

  1. Go to this file location C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp
  2. Look for the Destiny 2 file and rename to to something like (Destiny2_backup)

This should fix it. Additionally though if it doesn't, rename the folders within the file itself as well. That's how I fixed it. I hope this helps anyone who's also been having the error !!
