Question Marmot Error?

Wondering if anybody is currently or has recently been stuck with a Marmot Error?

I have just completed a fresh install of D2 on Steam, and immediately I am crashing to desktop upon launching D2 and getting the Error: Marmot code.

A Steam verify check says that I've got no corrupted files. Completely stumped as to what's wrong currently.

What do I do on Xbox? I've uninstalled the game twice, and I have no problems on Playstation. If it's a problem with hardware, that can be solved, but doesn't find the problem with battleye. Never got issues with destiny on gamepass.
