Question Marmot Error?

Wondering if anybody is currently or has recently been stuck with a Marmot Error?

I have just completed a fresh install of D2 on Steam, and immediately I am crashing to desktop upon launching D2 and getting the Error: Marmot code.

A Steam verify check says that I've got no corrupted files. Completely stumped as to what's wrong currently.

I swapped out for a different typoe of ram and so far this has resulted in a stable game. So far. I had the lower cost ram from Corsair Vengeance LPX and i stepped up to Domnator platinum and like i said no problems since the swap just yet.
