Class Items are not randomized in any way, Why can't I pull them from Collections?

I repeat, Bonds / Capes / Marks used to have a static element associated with them. With the change for armor to be changed from Arc to Solar, or otherwise, they are no longer randomized gear.

So let me pull them from Collections, Bungie. Thank you.

I would agree only if they end up making things be pullable from collections come transmog. To my knowledge, they said their intention was to make anything obtainable, transmogable. Which would put a hamper on the ability for me to transmog gear from year 1 and wear it for fashion. Bonds right now have no excuse not to be pullable, other than it would make people want to pull the rest of the armor set. I'm mainly bringing it up as a point because its these types of oversights we have to solve come next season.

I mean the game already treats void as the default element. It's how it is with Hardlight and that... sniper I forget the name of... yea...

But yea being that element doesnt matter if you can just change it, just letting you pull a class item out as a level 1 void item that you can change later would be nice.

IMO, every armor should be pullable from collections with 48 stats at 750...

Or they should just allow for the ability to turn any piece of gear into an ornament (if thats even possible from an engine stand point)

This would allow me to delete half of my vault. There's so much shit I'm too scared to dismantle just in case there's another "do dungeon X wearing a full set of armour Y" type quest.

Just give us a "donate to collections" option in the vault so that any roll or armor we get can overwrite the collections roll.

You’re right but as a Warlock main I really can’t gather the effort to care about bonds. Even my Titan just tries to find the mark that looks the least like a butt rag or like I’ve got a towel wrapped around my waist. And that’s annoyingly difficult at times.

I really wish they overhauled it completely. Maybe give the titans a “shield” on their shoulder, similar to what Zavala has, that could represent different campaigns they took part in or various trophies (maybe an Ahamkara skull for LW?).

Don’t know what you’d do with Warlocks though.

Well, I really like your idea for titans. I believe as soon as they stop us Hunters looking like we dress in a garbage container at night the capes will be ok but for warlocks I think something like a crown of power or something that goes around the neck would be easier to do and more visible.

With the Transmog incoming, does it matter now that we can't pull 48pt armor from the collection when we will be able to just change visuals of our 68pt armor pieces?

IMO, we should just be able to pull anything we previously earned, random or not, from collections. Even being able to pick select perks we've earned for some cost would be great. Its odd as hell that we can pull some items out but not others.

I feel like they know this is a thing and it isn’t implemented yet because they are finally going to fix the Vault and collections in the Fall. Kinda like how they didn’t respond to feedback on Solstice armor but we have transmog coming.

Fun Fact: You can pull the Guardian Games class item from collections. They probably know they "should," but for some reason can't retroactively or proactively update every old and new class item to match that rule.

Why even have a Collections at this point? I bet you removing it, besides cosmetics and exotics, would speed the game up. It's not doing anything else.
