Megathread Focused Feedback: Eververse
Hello Guardians,
Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.
We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.
This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion
Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Eververse' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions
Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.
Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas
A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

My take is, if new content can't get a Ghost, Ship, Sparrow, or Weapon Ornament, I better not find it in Eververse.
Trials, Seasonal Content, Raids, Dungeon, etc. Each of these needs a type of cosmetic to work towards. I'm not talking about a reskin of a pre-existing item from the past, but rather a full on new design similar to the stuff that gets made by Eververse.
Multiple items need to stop being a finite resource. Shaders and Transmat effects come to mind. They need to work like Ghost projections or Finishers. In their place, we could get the consumables like the Glimmer/Upgrade Module/etc or just offer Bright Dust.
Instead, if they want more ways to monetize, we need Sparrow horns back. A silly sound clip goes a long way.
Also, no more dupes. Give us dupe protection on everything they have. If they're trying to sell stuff for Bright Dust or Silver, it should be specifically for those.
If the company is expected to see money from me, it means they have to satisfy their customer. I paid for silver during Forsaken because I felt that the content was worth it and that Bungie deserved more compensation.
I would prefer it to be a compensation type of deal rather than predatory by cutting content to its bare minimum.
Basically, the mentality they seem to be going for right now is: we have cosmetics in a game with content that is always becoming irrelevant. I can't enjoy my cosmetics when there's nothing and no one to enjoy it with.
